Canderel is proud to announce that construction of the new Bell Canada headquarters planned for Nuns' Island has begun with the pouring of concrete scheduled for next week.

Jonathan Wener, Chairman of Canderel, says, “We are excited to be building a new home for Canada's largest telecommunications company, an organization whose pedigree and historical significance in Canada is unparalleled.” The project has been designed by Brian Burrows of the Montreal-based architectural firm Architex and will be constructed by Reliance Construction of Canada. It is slated to be ready for occupancy by late summer 2008.
