Canderel Stoneridge Meets Purchaser's Needs With

Canderel Stoneridge has built its reputation as one of the GTA's leading condominium developers by recognizing and exceeding the needs of today's condo buyer.

The latest example of this can be found at the Company's award-winning King Street West condominium development, DNA: Downtown's Next Address, which recently sought and won approval from the City of Toronto to add more Terrace Suites and an extra foot of ceiling height to the top three floors of DNA Phase II.

"Despite a vast array of condominium projects in Toronto, very few feature large, terraces as part of the design," says Canderel Stoneridge's Marketing Director, Riz Dhanji. "With limited availability and high desirability we knew that terraces were at a premium and included a select number of them in the plans for DNA, which quickly sold out.

"The response to the limited terrace selection of Phase I and overwhelming desire for similar suites at Phase II lead us to work with our architects, building team and the City of Toronto to find a way to increase the number of units," adds Dhanji.

As a result, DNA Phase II now offers 15 suites with terraces between 50 and 500 sq. ft., designed in a stepped architectural style to provide unparalleled views of Downtown Toronto or intimate vistas of the planned Massey Harris Park. Some Terrace Suites are two-storey and boast ceiling heights of 19 feet, while all offer the distinctive styling and appointments now associated with DNA.

These include standard granite kitchen countertops, halogen track lighting, wood veneer or carpeted flooring, ample closet space and six appliances.

"Our standard finishes and feature package mirrors the needs of today's consumer" says Riz Dhanji. "DNA has always been about reflecting the unique desire, attitude and lifestyle of our purchasers. For example, buyers wanted greater ceiling heights, more closet space and a resident's lounge; all of which have now been included in the design of Phase II."

DNA Phase II includes an extra foot of ceiling height on the seventh, eighth and ninth floors giving the already well-proportioned suites an added dimension of space and plans now include a stylish Rooftop Lounge.

Created by the celebrity design team at II BY IV Design Associates, the chic, modern lounge will feature a bar, entertainment centre and unsurpassed sky high view of the city for residents. The perfect destination for a gathering of one's most fashionable friends or a quiet getaway to read and relax, DNA's Rooftop Lounge makes getting to one of the City's hippest spots just an elevator ride away.

DNA's commitment to exceeding expectations extends beyond its design and features to include value and cost. Priced from $140,900 for a one bedroom unit, 90 per cent of the 229 Phase II suites are priced under $250,000 making it, for first time buyers, a very affordable option.

An option made even more affordable by the continuation of DNA's Special Incentive Program. Under the cash-back offer on select suites purchasers receive a $200 discount, payable on closing, for every $10,000 spent. This offer is compounded by a limited time special mortgage rate and incentive program from the Royal Bank, starting September 20th.
