
Having recently secured a tenant for approximately 100,000 sq.ft. 425 Legget is in the midst of a major transformation from a flex space/manufacturing facility into a class “A” office and research facility. As part of the “Landlord's Base Building Work”, the mezzanine will be extended onto the flex space floor creating an additional 21,000 square feet of rentable area. Once the retrofit is completed, the rentable area of the building will be approximately 128,000 sq.ft. As part of the Landlord's Work, Canderel will be updating all mechanical systems in the building, installing an elevator in the front lobby, installing additional windows throughout and adding striking architectural features such as a floor to ceiling “window wall” with views onto Shirely's Brook and an extra-large skylight overtop of the “living wall” staircase ensuring natural light reaches all areas of the building.
